Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee entry of POs in the IFS system.
  • Managing strategic relationships with current suppliers.
  • Facilitate smooth and orderly flow of information between purchasing, shipping, sales, production as well as client.
  • Implement and monitor current purchasing strategies, including volume negotiations, rebate schemes and planning, lead times, and supplier capacity.
  • Sourcing of products and services IT related, telecoms, mobile applications.
  • Support sales with quotation process while providing procurement expertise, technical advice and guidance in order to achieve savings and improve production speed.
  • Provide strategic guidance to current procurement team.
  • Check product stocks for goods ordered by procurement for artwork quality and data accuracy.
  • Pre-qualifying and on boarding new suppliers.
  • Implement and review supplier contracts.
  • Coordinate production schedules with the sales, operations and production teams.

Qualification and Skills:

  1. Minimum degree ideally in Business or Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
  2. Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management abilities.
  3. Ability to delegate and lead a team.
  4. Strong Excel and ERP knowledge.
  5. UAE experience is desirable and Fluent English verbal and written.
  6. Previous experience within a strategic procurement role.
  7. Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team is absolutely essential.
